Art in Education devises and delivers bespoke projects for Key Stage 1 students using a range of techniques which develop a child’s small and large motor skills, observational and drawing skills and their ability to work as a team.
Depending on the outcome required, projects can be run which involve every child in the school. Such a project might result in a large scale collaborative mosaic, sculpture or mural which every child will have had a part in creating, no matter how young.
During Art in Education workshops students will be introduced to various principals in art such as scale, texture, colour, shape and pattern, often referencing famous artists and tying into the curriculum wherever possible. Workshops are fun and safe and always result in high quality outcomes that the school will be proud of.
